Question
I have e filed taxes for federal and 2 states, California tax return is still pending. I wanted to mail but now want to efile, can I change that?
I am filing jointly with my spouse. I am partial resident of california and new york and my spouse is a permanent resident of california. Hence we had to file more than one state tax. Now my income is earned and taxed in New york and I wanted to take tax credit from california since california was also taxing me on the same income. I was able to e file for federal , new york and even new jersey but can't seem to do the same for california,I want to retry but can't seem to. Can I try e filing again though my other state tax has been accepted.
