Question

I have filed my 2019 taxes and they have been accepted. Can I now go back and reopen my file to do estimated taxes for 2020?

Do not open up your return and start messing around with it or you could end up changing something that will either make it impossible to work with the original if you find out you need to amend for some unforeseen reason, or you will not be able to transfer the correct tax file next year when you want to prepare 2020.

Start a dummy return in a different account or use the tax caster tool.
