You do not have to enter anything about health insurance unless you have a 1095A for marketplace health insurance ("Obamacare" "Affordable Care" from healthcare.gov.

If you have health insurance from the Marketplace, you have received form 1095-A, This form must be reported on your tax return.

 

In TurboTax Online, you can enter your form 1095-A by following these steps:

 

  1. Open your tax return
  2. Click on Deductions & Credits under Federal in the left-hand column
  3. Locate the section Medical and click on the down arrow on the right
  4. Click Start next to Affordable Care Act (Form 1095-A).
