Question

I have heard if you didnt make alot 2020 that you had option to use 2019 instead. How do I do that? Enter info from last year?

No.    Enter all of your 2020 income.  Make sure you include any unemployment that you received --it will be on your 1099G.

 

There is a "lookback" in the earned income section that lets you choose whether to use your 2019 or 2020 AGI for the calculation of earned income credit and child tax credit.  Choose whichever AGI gives you the best refund.
