I have my son as dependent, but this year I am not getting credit for him, since he is 17+ years, he live with us and full time student, no work, how I can get credit .

To be eligible for the Child Tax Credit he must be under the age of 17 on the last day of the year.

You can still claim him as a dependent on your tax return and receive his personal exemption.

You will also receive the Earned Income Credit (EIC), if you are otherwise eligible. It's only the Child Tax credit that is lost, the year the child turns 17.
