Question

I have ordinary dividends which are all qualified. When I enter them in the proper places, TT taxes the qualified dividends. What am I doing wrong?

You're not doing anything wrong.  Qualified dividends are taxed -- just at a different rate than ordinary dividends.

A qualified dividend is a dividend that falls under capital gains tax rates, which are lower than the income tax rates on unqualified, or ordinary, dividends.
