Question

I have reported interest and dividends on my federal return, but they are not transferring my state return (OH). What do I need to do different?

All income, reported on the federal return, transfers to the  Ohio return as part of the federal AGI (line 8b on federal form 1040).  That is, your dividends and interest  are already include in line 1 of your Ohio form IT1040.
