I have taxes completed. I did one with turbo and owe over $1000 and did another one with H&R and only owe around $500. I checked all the numbers everything is the same

The do-it-yourself tax software like TurboTax or H & R Block (or Tax Slayer, TaxAct etc etc.) all has to undergo stringent examination by the IRS before it becomes available for use.  All of the software programs must use the current tax laws and do the calculations accurately.     If you enter the SAME information into those software programs, you should get the same results.   So---something was entered differently into one of the programs you tried.   The only way to see what you did differently---which may not be practical--- would be to print them and lay them side by side and compare line by line.
