Question

I have to mail in my federal taxes and i did my state taxes and paid for them but turbo tax will not acknowledge that or even allow me access to my state return to file?

i paid for state taxes, filled out the information and now there is no way to file them on turbo tax. what is happening? how can this be fixed?

You cannot e-file the state returns if the federal return was not successfully e-filed and accepted by the IRS.  If you file federal by mail, you have to file state by mail as well.
