Question

I have two W2s this year because in middle of year we switched from getting paid every other week to the 15th and 30th / how do I enter in the box control number

While entering the W-2 information, you can locate the Control Number under the employer information section in Box "d" if applicable.

 

The important thing is to input the correct "EIN" ( Employer Identification number).

Since you are entering two W-2 statements, make sure the entries reflect the correct Identifying numbers, even if the Name of the employer is the same.  Often, there are different EIN's and Employer Names due to a reorganization of the company.
