I inherited shares of an LLC for commercial property in CA. I'm a nonresident. How do I determine if I'm an issuer, a holder, or both? under the OID header?

This is to answer the question "Are you an issuer, a holder, or both" on the CA tax return under the Original Issue Discount (OID) header.

It the person you inherited the shares from was the issuer of the shares, that does not make you an issuer of the shares. You are a shareholder.
