I inputted my employer ID number but it keeps telling me it is not correct no matter how many times I do it it shows the same number on my W-2

I would first contact the issuer of that Form and verify that the Employer ID number is correct.

If it is correct and matched what you entered on that Form, then you would need to paper-file your return.

The IRS won't let you e-file a return if the Federal ID doesn't match what's in their database.
