Question

I just did my taxes through the turbo tax app everything went through except the e-file signature. I never filled my taxes and it’s telling me I have. I have not filled taxes ever.

When your return is rejected, no information went through. Since you did not file a return in 2018, then enter zero for the 2018 AGI.

If your efiled return was rejected what was the reason and/or code given on the email you should have received with the rejection?

@Texas Roger It was rejected for the 2018 AGI

I didn't see that in the post. Many filers are getting their tax returns rejected because they used the non filer portion of the IRS or TurboTax portal to register for the stimulus payment not realizing they actually filed a tax return. When they then prepare and efile an actual tax return, it is rejected because they unknowingly already filed a return. That was the reason for asking the question.
