I just filed an extension to file my deceased father's tax return. Nowhere did I see a place where I could indicate he has passed. I don't have tax info to input now.

Step 3 last topic

I'm preparing this return for (My Father), who has passed away.

Select Yes

You will be prompted to enter the date he passed away
