Question

I just filed my taxes. I chose installments and it shows that INhave to pay full amo unit by July 15

No, that is not correct.  You don't have to pay the full amount due by July 15. 

 

If you owe Federal Tax and requested an Installment Agreement, you have until July 15 to make an initial payment.  After July 15, interest will apply to any unpaid balance. 

 

You will receive a letter from the IRS approving your Installment Agreement and you can make monthly payments after that.
