I just used the automated help to get a download to replace my CD Rom. She said the e-mail was sent with instructions, but I don't have it yet. How long should it take?

You should receive the email within an hour or two. Please make sure you check your spam (junk) files to make sure it is not there. Also, sometimes email providers hold emails they think are spam, only to release them as long as 48 hours later.

Don't call again too soon, it will invalidate the old order and you’ll end up waiting longer.
