Question

I keep getting an error message when attempting to pay and file. How do I get past this? It's been going on for a couple of days, and I am out of time

There is as a billing hold on your account.  You need to call support during the hours when the billing department is open.  The person who answers your call will need to get the account cleared by the billing department.  Their hours are M-F from 9:00 AM - 4:00 PM Mountain time.  Those are only times that your issue can be resolved.
