Solved

I left a job in December 2023 but received one more paycheck in January 2024. The amount was less than $600, so I did not receive a W2 from my old employer. How to file?

I'm not sure how to properly file this with my taxes as I don't have any of the withholding information. I don't have access to this old pay stub.

There is not a $600 minimum to sending out a W2.  Your employer should still send you a W2.  You will need to contact them to find out if they sent it yet.  Employers have until January 31 to issue W2's.   It is possible that they are using an online system or no longer have your correct mailing address.

The $600 threshold is for the 1099 forms.  If you were an employee, this does not apply to you.  If you were self-employed, then you would need to use your records to enter your income.

Thank you so much for your help! I will follow up with my old employer to see how I can get a W2 form.
