It's difficult to say without seeing the return, but here are some things to look at. Did you have any other income other than your wages? Did your Spouse also work? Do you have City and Local taxes in addition to State taxes? Did you check to be sure you posted everything correctly? Finally, did you go to HR and fill out a W-4 to indicate haow much tax you should have withheld?As you can see there are many questions to consider. Any one will affect the end result.
