Question

I'm an actor & I have income from non-performance work. To file as a qualified performing artist, is the AGI of $16,000 or less just for the artist income or all income?

No, it is your adjusted gross income (AGI) from all sources, not just acting.

If your AGI from all sources exceeds $16,000  you can not file as a qualified performing artist.
