I'm an Air Force Reservist who moved from CA to WI while on active duty orders. My orders changed from Los Angeles AFB to the 115 Fighter Wing in WI. PCS or not?

Government did not force the move. I was not reimbursed for any of the expenses.

As a reservist, you aren't "permanently stationed" anywhere for military purposes, so this could not be a Permanent Change of Station (PCS) move. The fact that you were on active-duty orders at the time you moved to WI, doesn't change that.

From my own personal experience, many reservists (especially aircrew-types) commute from distant locations to perform their reserve duty. The lucky ones are able to find a reserve unit close to where their civilian job is located (or vice versa).

What was the purpose and duration of your AD orders?

Active Duty Operational Support (ADOS) to work on historical activities for base's 100th anniversary. Started orders December of 2015 and orders will terminate in April of 2018. The government did not force the move.
