I'm considering upgrading to the Self-Employed version but I'm not sure if it is worth the extra cost. Is it possible to downgrade if I don't see the tax benefit?

You can clear and start over after upgrading if you change your mind:

You cannot downgrade, but if you have a Sch C and have many expenses it should be worthwhile.

You do not pay until the end.
