Question

I'm divorced, have been for more than a year, and marked my status that way. Why is TurboTax asking me things about my ex-wife like bank interest or company stocks?

My divorce was finalized in 2019 and we have had no financial relationship since 2017.

Divorced is not a filing status.   If you are now divorced your filing status for 2020 is Single.   You should start a new account with a new user ID for your new Single status.   If you try to use an account that has previously been used for a joint return it is too hard to get out all the "spouse stuff" and you will get errors and aggravation because the spouse stuff will  keep coming up.
