I'm getting a message of (Invalid social security number) however I know that's not true. could my SSN be connected to another account?

When are you getting this message? Is it a message for the reason an efiled return is rejected?

You can try deleting the number and entering it again. If that doesn't work, there may be a problem with the IRS database. You should contact the Social Security Administration to make sure they have it correct in their system. If your return is being rejected for this reason, you will have to print and mail your return to get it accepted.
