Question

I’m on a payment plan for back taxes, will my return this year be credited or will I receive it and continue paying my normal monthly amount?

Generally your refund will be take and applied to the past debt. If the refund is more than the past debt, then the difference will be sent to you. If the refund is not enough to cover the debt and additional monies are still owed, keep making your monthly payments until the debt has been paid off.
