Question

I'm trying to fill out the ohio school district taxes and its saying my AGI is wrong despite it being the same number on 1040, it only accepts the return when I enter 0

What do i do? Is the right answer 0? Should I review my federal?

    1. The Ohio return begins with the federal AGI. Your city tax is based on your state AGI, usually. I wonder if the problem is with your w2. Check that you have the local tax boxes filled in

    2. No, zero is not right, it needs to be your actual state income.

    3. The federal AGI is no help. Review your state AGI and your w2.
