Go to the beginning of the state preparation area.....and Delete the state return you may have started.
You can re-start it later AFTER the federal e-file has been accepted. Do Not touch anything for your state until after you e-file the Fed....until the Fed filing has been "Accepted" (not just transmitted...not received...not pending...but actually "Accepted")
