I mailed my 2019 federal tax return with the payment. They have posted the payment but say they never received my return. Can I efile my return thru turbotax online?

I need to get it accepted as soon as possible. FASFA (student loans) need to verify with the IRS to disburse the funds. IRS needs to receive and accept the return

No, you cannot efile 2019 now. It is odd that they would not have processed the return if it was in the same envelope as the payment, unless you filed it recently. Have you ordered a 2019 tax transcript on the IRS website? If you do remail the printed 2019 return, be sure to sign it and get a USPS Tracking No.

E-filing for 2019 returns has been permanently closed since October of 2020. No, you cannot e-file it. Sorry---if you filed it late and by mail, you are at the mercy of the backlogged IRS and the very long processing time for mailed returns.
