I moved out of the marital home prior to July 1, 2016. Can I claim Head of Household since we did not live together after July 1?

We are each claiming one child as a dependent. He stayed in the marital home, I am now living separate effective June 2016.

You can claim Head of Household if the spouse didn't live in your home for the last 6 months of the year.  It has to be 6 months, no less. You must also have paid more than half the cost of keeping up a home for the year and the child must have lived with your for more than half of 2016 as well.
