I moved to US on October 1, 2022 from India on L1 visa. I am required to file a return in US for the year 2022. My stay in 3 years in US is less than 183 days

File a nonresident return since you did not meet the substantial presence test of being in the U.S. for 31 days in 2022 and 183 days during the 3-year period that includes the current year and the 2 years immediately before that.

TurboTax does not support non-resident returns, but you can file with TurboTax partner Sprintax.com.

Alternatively, you can elected to be treated as a U.S. tax return by making the first-year choice. In that case, you can file a dual-status return with Sprintax.com.
