It might be something simple like missing information on your tax return.  Read the letter for the information request and confirm the contact information on it is from the true sender.  If it's from your state  Department of Revenue, you can contact them directly to confirm.  Please see this TurboTax Help article for contacting them:  How do I contact my state Department of Revenue?
