I need to access both my state and federal return for 2013. Which turbotax product do I need to purchase in order to do so?

Before proceeding with detailed steps, are you sure the 2013 is present in your online account?   Have you located it in the section "Your Tax Returns & Documents", and when you try to download/print, does it tell you access is locked and that you need to pay to unlock it?

If so, the minimum to unlock it is to upgrade a 2018 Free Edition return to PLUS for 19.99 in the same account.    We can tell you all the steps once you confirm that you have found the 2013 return and answer the questions below.

Please answer all of the following:

1. Have you already filed a 2018 return in Online TurboTax, or is one still in preparation?  Or did you file elsewhere?
2. Was the 2018 return prepared in Free Edition?
3. Is the 2018 return in the SAME account as the 2013 online return?
