Question

I need to access my 2017 tax documents to file for a student loan, but don't want to pay since I won't be using this account again. Is there any way around this?

Your options are:
Get a free transcript from the IRS.
Pay the $20 Plus upgrade fee to Turbotax.
Pay the IRS $50 for a copy.

Note:  Every year, before mid-October, print a copy of your current year tax return and save it as a tax file and pdf, too.  That way you will have it when you need it for school, a loan, next year’s tax return, etc. without going through a lot of aggravation (and expense)  to get it.

If you used TT online its there forever; if you have an intuit account, you can login, find the product and reinstall. If you don't have an account but registered your purchase, you can reinstall through the registration. If none of the above helps you, try QB customer service and they might help you.
