I need to complete a simple 1040 return for my father-in-law. Do I need to create an additional turbotax account for him or can I enter all of his info in a 2nd file?

Can I complete separate tax returns under my Turbotax account for distant relatives who have asked me to complete their return?

You would need to create another account, otherwise you will overwrite your return.
