I need to file a 1040-X for 2022. I have filed 2022 using Free File Fillable Forms. How do I go about it?

It's difficult to file an amended return if you did not originally use TurboTax to file for 2022. You would have to purchase the desktop software for the prior year and duplicate the original return as you filed it exactly, then choose to mail (but don't!). After that, you could amend it.
It might be easier to download the 1040x form from the IRS and complete using a copy of your 2022 return. Forms, Instructions and Publications
