I need to file my return (2020) to close on a mortgage loan. turbo tax will not let me finish because forms "are not ready". The forms ARE ready. on IRS website

How can I get this problem resolved so I can file????

The forms being on the IRS site and the online software forms being ready and approved by the IRS are not the same thing.  You cannot resolve it.  You have to wait for the IRS/states to finalize those forms in the software versions.  Click on Review to see when that will be--subject to change by the IRS/states.

You cannot file a tax return using TurboTax until the forms and schedules included in your tax return have been finalized for filing.  Click on the Review tab for the availability dates

They want your 2019 return that isn't due until April 15?  Or do they maybe want your 2018 return you filed in 2019 last year?  I would ask them again what exactly they want.

And the IRS doesn't even start taking returns until Jan 27.  Until then it will just sit on Turbo Tax servers until the IRS starts Processing.
