I employed a contractor and I need to give him a 1099 misc for his work, can I do this on turbo tac?

Yes, you can create 1099 MISC for a contractor (employees should receive W-2 forms) using the  online Quick Employer Forms service.  You can print the forms to mail to the recipient and the state, plus e-file the federal government their copy.  See the direct link and more information below:
