Question

I need to pay but it wants to add additional cost for using a credit card. Can this just be taken out of my checking account instead so I can save that extra cost!??

What payment are you referring to? You can set up direct debit for your federal taxes using your bank account. See this: https://www.irs.gov/ht/payments/direct-pay

Pay what? A Tax due or the Turbo Tax fees? There is no extra charge to pay the Turbo Tax fees by credit card. There is an extra service charge if you want to have the fees deducted from a federal refund. Read the screens slowly and watch what you click on.
