I need to remove a credit that was claimed as I thought it was for individuals that paid their own out of pocket for TETC. It's for State and hasn't been filed yet.

To correct this, go back through the Montana interview in TurboTax Online: 

1. Open TurboTax Online
2. Select  Tax Home in the left pane
3. On the  Hi, let's keep working on your taxes! screen, select the dropdown to the right of the State Taxes box, then select Start, Continue, or Pick up where you left off
4. Proceed through the state interview screens until you come to the Eligible for These Business Credits? screen 
5. If the box next to Trades Education and Training Credit, select Continue
6. Delete any amount entered for the Trades Education and Training Credit, then select Continue
7. Select the < Back button twice, back to the Eligible for These Business Credits? screen 
8. On the  Eligible for These Business Credits? screen, unselect the box next to Trades Education and Training Credit, then select Continue
9. Proceed through the end of the Montana interview
