I no longer wish to file with Turbotax. How do I delete what I have entered in the system?

If you have not paid for the online edition you are using, have not filed your tax return or registered the Free edition, then you can clear your return. Click on Tax Tools on the left side of the program screen while working on the 2024 online tax return. Click on Clear & Start Over.

There is nothing on the Home screen in Turbotax that says Tax Tools so I can't follow the instructions I just received.

You have to access your 2024 online tax return and then go to one of the sections of the return before the links on the lift side of the online program will be active, Personal Info, Wages & Income, Deductions & Credits, etc.

If you have not registered, paid or e-filed you can clear it.
