I only received partial stimulus, I was missing income for one dependent. How do I file for the missing income?

When you complete your tax return, TurboTax will prompt you to enter the amount of the stimulus payment you received at the end of the Other Tax Situations interview section of the program.  Be sure to enter the amounts of each stimulus payment you received as there is a section for both payments, including the payment that could have been received in 2021.

If you only received one payment, be sure to enter zero in the second stimulus payment box.

If you were entitled to an additional stimulus payment for your dependent but did not receive it, you will be given a tax credit on your tax return for the amount you should have received.  The IRS will not be issuing you a check for the missing income.

Please see the attached link for more information on the stimulus payments.

I had the same issue, however turbo tax is saying it’s correct when it is not. Still have a 3rd child that I never received payment for either stimulus payment. How can you file the form and bypass the turbo tax system being incorrect?

Your dependent that did not get a stimulus payment would not be qualified if they are over the age of 17. In order for a dependent to be eligible, the dependent must be your qualifying child under the age of 17. Please keep in mind that although they may be dependents on your tax return, they are not automatically qualified for a stimulus payment.
