I owe $606 on my federal taxes, but, am being given a $5600 refund from state. Doesn't seem to add up. Does this sound right to anyone else?

Start by checking for data entry errors, especially state wages and state tax withholdings on your W-2 and other docs. Look for commas and decimals that my be in the wrong place.
