I owe this year...why?? Too many exemptions on my W-4's somehow..says 2 from both of my jobs, which is 4 total. Should only be 0-2 total. Anything I can do?

It is two total. But if you are the only person on the return, that is one too many.

If you had too many exemptions on your W-4 at work, then you got more in each paycheck rather than at the end of the year in the form of a refund. There is nothing you can do to fix this for 2016; you got too much money up front and now have to pay it back.

If you want a bigger refund, change your W-4 to zero for 2017 or at the most one.
