I paid for efile service but my 2019 tax return did not get sent to IRS

Turbo Tax did not efile my 2019 tax return when I already paid for the service.

Turbo Tax does not automatically e-file your return for you. You have to go through the process and transmit your own return when you are done. When you e-file, you receive an email and text message if you signed up for the service. The messages will let you know if your return was accepted or rejected. If it is rejected, you have to make changes and submit the return again for approval by the IRS.

If the final step was not complete, then you did not e-file. You can still file the 2019 return using the software. The online version is only for the current year. You can use the link below to purchase the software.
