Question

I paid my wife's premiums for her Health Insurance Marketplace. We file taxes separately. I have entered the 1095-A data for my taxes? can it go under my business? How?

Is your spouse an employee or a co-owner of your business?

Generally, to get the Self-employed Health Insurance deduction, the insurance must be bought in either the business's name or in your (the business owner) name.

If your spouse does not have self-employment income, then she cannot take advantage of this deduction.

Are you on your spouse's policy? Or do you have separate health insurance?
