I paid $$ with my extension and it's not reflected on the return

I have it entered in the section "payments made with 2023 extension" and taking it out or changing it makes absolutely no difference. I have followed all the instructions in the software and it's definately there.

The federal extension payment will be shown on Schedule 3 Line 10. The amount from Schedule 3 Part II Line 15 flows to Form 1040 Line 31

Yes, it's not flowing through.

I did open the tax worksheet and manually entered it but I should not have had to do that.

Well check your 1040 return over very close and make sure it didn't also show up in the wrong place with something else. Are you using the Desktop program? Have you been updating the program? Go up to menu Online - Check for Updates. Oh and if you made an override to enter it on the worksheet you might not be able to efile.
