Solved

I put on my taxes someone claims me as a dependent but my mom cannot claim me because I am no longer a student. Does that matter?

If you made less than $12K then nothing will change by amending ... and if you made less than $4150 then you are still a dependent of your parents if you still live at home and they support you.

Did you already file?  How old are you?  About how much did you make?

Not being a student, alone, does not disqualify you from being a dependent. It changes the rules. Now there is an income test.
