I received a 1099NEC for my commission/ bonus check. I did not receive cash. It was a check. It's asking about self employment info and I don't have any. What do I do?

I don't have a business, I got a W2 besides the 1099NEC. What are my next steps?

If you received the 1099-NEC from your W-2 employer, your bonus should be added to your W-2.

When entering your 1099-NEC, you can indicate that it should have been reported on a W-2.

On the next screen, indicate that you received a W-2 and a 1099-NEC from your employer.

This will be reported as Wages on your return.
