Question

I received a PUA-1099G for Pandemic Unemployment Assistance. TurboTax does not recognize this form. How do i file this?

there are no box numbers so the standard 1099G entry isn't working

According to the Pennsylvania Unemployment FAQ:

 

The PUA 1099-G tax form includes the amount of benefits paid to you for the following program: 
 

  • Pandemic Unemployment Assistance (PUA)

Enter the amount shown on the form for Unemployment in box 1 for Form 1099-G. If you received another form for unemployment that is reported on Form 1099-G, add the two amounts together and enter that amount into the program.
