Question

I received a text with a TurboTax Canada Code and a TurboTax Canada Verification Code that I did not request. I changed my password. Anything else I need to do?

I live in the United States and did not request either code. The text messages alerted me to someone perhaps attempting to access my account. I cannot hear on the phone so cannot call the number for help.

Changing your PWD is probably a good idea....just in case

BUT

We get bunches of reports like this every year...and they are likely due to someone , with an email address similar to yours,,,and they mis-typed their own email address.  And now this other person is frustrated and  wondering where their code is.

It's also a good idea to report the text using the following link:  Report a fake email (or phishing)

Reference:  Avoid phishing scams and spoofed sites
